Kiley Bailey is a Clinical and Diagnostic Science major with an emphasis in Radiography, from Tipton, Missouri. I plan to obtain my undergraduate degree in radiography and then attend Stephens Physician Assistant Program following graduation.

In addition to serving on the CHS Student Ambassador Leadership Team, Kiley is a member of Sigma Eta Rho, the SHP professional fraternity, Mizzou CHAARG, Mizzou Fighting Pretty, and SALT.
If you could have dinner with one famous Mizzou graduate, who would it be and why?
I would have dinner with David Koechner. He is a famous actor who is in most of the movies I enjoy watching and he is from my hometown Tipton, Missouri.
What’s your favorite Mizzou club/organization?
My favorite club/organization at Mizzou would be Sigma Eta Rho, a professional frat for the School of Health Professions or Mizzou CHAARG, an all-female workout group. Sigma Eta Rho allowed me to meet other people with the same interest in health care and volunteer at many eye-opening events. Mizzou CHAARG is a new organization on campus that helps empower women in and out of the gym.
What should make students choose Mizzou?
Mizzou might be intimidating to some, but it offers so many organizations, clubs, field-specific opportunities, various intramural sports or club sports teams, fraternity, sorority opportunities, etc. that you can join. Offering a wide range of opportunities to become involved, allows something for everyone. Getting involved allows Mizzou to feel lie home away from home. You become involved and connect to people with the same interest and passions as you, which can open the door to endless opportunities. There is something for everyone to feel connected to.
How did you choose your major?
I always knew I wanted to do something medical, but I wasn’t completely sure exactly what I wanted to do until I talked to Cheri Ghan and the School of Health Professions student ambassadors. Meeting with them and hearing about the many degrees/majors I could choose allowed me to narrow down what interests me. I ended up choosing Radiography because of all the hands-on experience you gain from it, along with the small class size so I would be able to work closely with my professors and classmates.
What has been your favorite Mizzou memory?
My favorite memory at Mizzou was First Roar. I will never forget seeing so many freshmen and meeting some of my closest friends. This event was just one of many that took place in Welcome Week, to get everyone excited about the year. All freshmen walked to the football field where we were introduced to a few staff members, learned the chats for the games, and kissed the 50-yard line.
