Respiratory Therapy celebrated for credentialing success
July 29, 2024
The University of Missouri’s Respiratory Therapy program has again been recognized as one of the top in the country when it comes to credentialing.
The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) selected the program to receive a 2024 award for Distinguished Registered Respiratory Therapist Credentialing Success. The award recognizes the program achieving an RRT credentialing success rate of more than 90% on the 2023 Annual Report of Current Status (RCS).
The commission recognizes respiratory therapy programs as a way to highlight the value of the RRT credential as a standard of professional achievement. The CoARC views the RRT credential as a measure of a program’s success in inspiring its graduates to achieve their highest educational and professional aspirations. Mizzou Respiratory Therapy received the same designation in 2023 from CoARC.
