Alyson Coles, from Mascoutah, Illinois, is a Health Science major with a Pre-Professional emphasis. After graduation, Alyson plans to attend medical school and become a physician.
“The best advice that I could give incoming CHS students would be to seek out opportunities and get involved in organizations relating to Health Sciences or your major,” she says. “This is so helpful to find other students going through the same process as you and that have the same goals as you- I have personally created so many bonds with people at Mizzou this way!”
Alyson is a member of Phi Delta Epsilon, a National Medical Fraternity at Mizzou, and serves as their social media chair. She is also involved with Tigers Connect which allows her to volunteer at a local pediatric clinic as a Family Resource Specialist.
