Emma Harris

Emma Harris, from Springdale, Arkansas, is a Health Science major with a Pre-professional emphasis. In the future, Emma plans to be a physician assistant.

“My advice would be to join different organizations and clubs to get involved as much as possible,” she says. “Even if you do not stick with everything you try, it’s good to find out what you like and don’t like, and to experience new things. Being involved in different organizations on campus can open many doors, foster relationships, and be very fulfilling!”

Emma is a member of the Pre-PA club where she participates in volunteer and social events and gets to learn about the PA profession. She is also a member of Kappa Delta sorority where she is on the accountability and support board, the recruitment team and is a new member mentor.

Why should students choose Mizzou?

In my opinion, Mizzou is the best place on Earth! The campus community, professors, advisors, and events at Mizzou are top tier. You will feel cared about and supported through campus resources. As a freshman, there are many ways that Mizzou helps make the transition easier. They provide events to meet people, career fairs, club fairs, and different fun activities to foster a feeling of belonging at Mizzou.

What is your favorite study spot on campus?

My favorite study spot is at Memorial Student Union. I love the big windows and that Starbucks and Wheatstone are close by!
