Adult Day Connection Update

May 20, 2020

The Adult Day Connection has been providing care and improving the lives of adults for more than 25 years. We value the relationships we have built over these many years, and it has been an honor to provide this service.

Since March, the coronavirus pandemic has dramatically changed the way we live. It has proven particularly dangerous for older individuals and those with preexisting conditions. Out of concern for participant safety, the Adult Day Connection suspended operations March 18. We’ve been monitoring the pandemic closely, and after evaluating options, we made the heartbreaking decision to not re-open the Adult Day Connection.

This was a difficult decision. The Adult Day Connection is special to us, and we know how important the program has been to families. However, we cannot in good conscience continue to offer the program knowing the risk it is to clients, staff and students.

We are grateful for the support of donors and community partners over the years, and we are committed to continuing to serve our community through other clinics and outreach programs.
