Ambassador applications will officially open on Sunday, Oct. 1, and they must be submitted to the CHS Office of Student Services, 101 Lewis Hall, by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27. New ambassadors will begin service in the spring 2024 semester.
Freshman, sophomore and junior Health Sciences students are invited to apply, as well as seniors with at least three semesters (SP24, F24, SP25) remaining before their graduation. All applications must be typed to be accepted.
About the student ambassador role
Student ambassadors represent our college at public events and are involved in the recruitment of new students through a variety of events and activities. They meet with prospective students, attend college fairs and represent the College of Health Sciences at admissions events across the state and beyond. They also assist with on-campus events and may be called upon by the Dean’s Office to participate in other activities on behalf of the college.
Ambassadors should have a strong GPA, demonstrate leadership and public speaking skills, and be willing to work at multiple events throughout the year. Some ambassadors also work one hour each week in the recruitment office. New students can apply to become ambassadors because they will have met the one-semester coursework requirement by the time they are trained and start service in the spring.
