Alison Wade

Alison Wade is from Columbia, Missouri, and is majoring in Health Science with an emphasis in Health and Wellness Services. Her best piece of advice to new students is to join a health-related club or organization on campus that aligns with your passions.

“This could be a student council, a pre-professional organization, or a club with a health interest. This gives you a chance to meet people with similar interests and establish connections,” she says.

Alison is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and CHS Student Council. She also attends SALT college ministry and participates in Fighting Pretty Mizzou.

What is your go-to study spot on campus?

My favorite study spot on campus is the student center basement. There is a warm fireplace and some really comfy chairs down there!

Why did you choose Mizzou?

I chose Mizzou because of the proximity to home and the amount of organizations Mizzou offers. I wanted to be a Health Science major because I liked how the degree blended my pre-professional science classes with holistic health care classes.

Why should students choose Mizzou?

Mizzou has such a thriving and diverse campus life where there are so many opportunities to meet new people, get involved, and figure out your passions.
