Anna Mae Williams

Anna Mae Williams is a Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences major from Chesterfield, Missouri. After college, she plans to get a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology to be an SLP.

“I chose speech, language, and hearing sciences because I have always loved language, science, and people,” she says. “As an SLP, I’ll get to use my science and language skills while working with people everyday! I chose SLHS at Mizzou because of the amazing faculty and all of the research and clinical experience opportunities available to students.”

Outside of being a CHS ambassador, Anna Mae is involved in the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association as the service chair, the Languages and Linguistics Club, Spanish Club, Racquetball Club, and The Neighborhood Student Ministry. She is also involved with service at Mizzou as she volunteers as a language partner for the Women’s Center and coaches adaptive ice skating.
