Annabelle Massman, from Westphalia, Missouri, is a Health Science major with a pre-professional emphasis. After graduation, Annabelle plans to attend optometry school.
Annabelle’s best advice for incoming Mizzou CHS students is to be open to new opportunities and to try new things.
Annabelle is a member of the Pre-optometry club and serves as their volunteer coordinator. She is also a volunteer with Mizzou’s Adaptive Swim Program, a member of Sigma Eta Rho, the College of Health Sciences professional fraternity, and a member of the True Tiger Network.
Why did you choose to pursue a career in healthcare?
I want to pursue a career in healthcare because my mom works in the healthcare field and that is where it all started. I am always seeking to help people and solve problems. I also enjoy working as part of a team.
What is your favorite Mizzou organization?
My favorite Mizzou organization is the pre-optometry club.
What dorm did you live in your freshman year?
I lived in Bluford on the southwest campus during my freshman year.
