Brooke Ivy is a Health Science major with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Sciences. She is from Jefferson City, Missouri, and hopes to pursue a career in Physical Therapy after obtaining her undergraduate degree.
“I chose Mizzou because it was big SEC school but still had a small-town feel that made me feel at home. I decided to go into Physical Therapy here at Mizzou because they have a phenomenal program and lots of hands-on experience.”
What made you pursue a career in healthcare?
I always wanted to help people in a way that I couldn’t really do with any other career. I like how personal and hands-on the healthcare world is and I personally feel like it’s going to be the most rewarding career for me.
Why should students choose Mizzou?
Students should choose Mizzou, not only because of the beautiful campus, but the amazing faculty and resources you can get here that you can’t always get from other schools.
What is your favorite Mizzou memory?
So far my favorite Mizzou memory was beating Arkansas on our home field for the last football game of the season, and even though it was snowing and bitter cold that day the energy in the stadium was like nothing I had ever experienced before.
