Carley Godfrey is a Health Science major with a Pre-Professional emphasis from Sullivan, Missouri. Carley’s plans after graduation are to earn a masters in physician assistant studies and become a PA.

“I love how medicine combines science, anatomy and interacting with real people to help heal them and make a difference,” she says.

Carley says it’s okay to not know exactly what you want to do career-wise because the College of Health Sciences has resources to help you discover what is meant for you.

Why did you choose Mizzou?

I choose Mizzou because of the amazing opportunities that the College of Health Science has for any healthcare profession and Mizzou beautiful campus! Mizzou has everything to offer for any career and allows you to be competitive in those fields. Mizzou has great academic resources, and a vibrant campus with an amazing sense of community and something for everyone!

What is your favorite Mizzou memory?

My favorite memory at Mizzou was running through the columns the day before the first day of school to start my Mizzou journey!

If you could have dinner with any Mizzou alum, who would it be and why?

I would have dinner with Nick Bolton because I love football and the Chiefs!
