Ella Sablan is from Fresno, California. She is a Health Science major emphasizing in Rehabilitation Sciences. She plans to apply to Physical Therapy school after she graduates to continue her education.

“I’ve always loved helping others and wanted to continue this in my career,” she says.

Ella is also involved with Greek Life on campus, which she says has been one of the best decisions she made for herself because it led her to meeting life long friends.

What is your favorite Mizzou memory?

My favorite Mizzou memory was definitely the first roar! As a freshman that was so fun to see all the people that were also freshman and who we’re going to be around for the next four years.

Why did you choose Mizzou and your respective program?

I knew I wanted to go out of state for college and I toured Mizzou and it was just everything I was looking for. I chose Rehab Science: Physical Therapy because I knew I wanted to do something in Health Care. PT was just the best fit for me.

If you could have dinner with any Mizzou alum, who would it be and why?

I would love to have dinner with my aunt. She also went to Mizzou and her talking so highly of it really made me want to go to Mizzou.
