Why did you choose Mizzou?

I chose Mizzou because the second I toured, it just felt like home. I could tell there was a strong community here, and I loved that Mizzou had a program that fit exactly what I wanted to study. When I got here, the friends I made — especially people who shared the same interests — helped me settle in so quickly. Those early connections made a big school feel small in the best way, and they’re a huge reason why Mizzou still feels like home to me.

What are you involved in on campus?
I’m involved in a few different groups on campus that have helped me find my community at Mizzou. I’m a member of Sigma Eta Rho, the professional Health Sciences fraternity, as well as the Association of Pre-Physician Assistant Students. I’m also part of Letters of Love and the Forestry Club, and I stay connected with my faith through a campus ministry. These organizations have helped me meet people who share my interests and given me a place to grow both personally and professionally!

What is your favorite part of being a student in the College of Health Sciences?
My favorite part of being a CHS student has definitely been the people. Everyone in the College of Health Sciences is so driven and supportive, and it really feels like we’re all cheering each other on. It’s the kind of community that pushes you to explore what you’re interested in, try new things, and figure out the path that fits you best.
