Katie Miller, from St. Charles, Missouri, is a Health Science major with a Pre-professional emphasis. After graduation, Katie plans to attend PA school. 

Katie’s best piece of advice for incoming Mizzou CHS students is to make study groups and practice effective time management. 

Katie is a member of the Honors College Programming Board which plans events for Mizzou’s honors students. She is also a member of the Mizzou Pre-Physicians Assistant Association. 

Why did you choose to pursue a career in healthcare?  

I chose to pursue a career in healthcare because the human body system is very interesting to me, and I love solving problems and helping people.

What is your favorite coffee spot in Columbia?

My current favorite coffee spot is The Grind.

What is your favorite study spot on campus?

My current favorite study spot is The Bookmark Café in Ellis Library.
