Kelley Silgen, from St. Paul, Minnesota, is a Health Science major with a Pre-professional emphasis. After graduation, Kelley plans to attend dental school and eventually open her own office.

“My best advice for incoming Mizzou CHS students would be that it’s okay to not know exactly what program you want to pursue within the College of Health Sciences,” she says. “There are so many opportunities to find what you love while being a student here.”

Kelley is a member of Greek Life where she has to opportunity to participate in volunteer opportunities, fundraisers and sisterhood events. She is also a member of the Health Science Fraternity, the pre-dental club and a volunteer club called Circle K.

Why should students choose Mizzou?

Students should choose Mizzou because of how easy it is to make the large campus feel like home through various organizations, clubs, sporting events, and traditions here at Mizzou.
