Why did you choose Health Science at Mizzou?
I chose Health Science at Mizzou because it connects really well with what I want to do after graduation. I plan to commission into the United States Air Force and pursue a career in healthcare administration within the Medical Service Corps, which makes the Leadership & Policy emphasis of the Health Science degree the perfect fit—it blends my passion for service and problem-solving. This degree gives me the foundation to make meaningful changes and serve on a broader scale.
What are you involved in on campus?
Air Force ROTC has been the most impactful part of my college experience. It has pushed me outside my comfort zone in the best ways and introduced me to some of my closest friends. I love the leadership development and the opportunity to collaborate with others toward something bigger than myself.
How would you describe the CHS community to future students?
The College of Health Sciences is a diverse and welcoming community where students come from many different backgrounds and interests, but we’re all united by a shared goal of helping others. No matter which path you choose, you’ll find people who support you and inspire you.
