Why did you choose Health Science at Mizzou?

I’ve always known I wanted to go into medicine, and after some research, I discovered that Mizzou had a fantastic healthcare program, so I knew I had to visit. Once I came here, I loved the campus and especially appreciated the University Hospital and the many other state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, which were so close to campus. All of this made choosing to study Health Science at Mizzou an easy decision.

Why should future students choose Mizzou?

There are so many reasons future students should choose Mizzou. Between the amazing people, campus, and facilities, there are abundant resources here to help you succeed. No matter what program, major, or emphasis area you are in, there will be faculty who can help you every step of the way so that you achieve your goals.

What advice do you have for incoming students?  

Getting out of my comfort zone, making great connections with genuine people, and having a strong sense of school spirit definitely helped me feel at home. Taking a chance and talking to people who you think might share a similar interest and then creating a strong connection with them is something you shouldn’t be afraid to do!
