Why did you choose to pursue a career in healthcare?
My mom is a pediatrician, so I grew up exposed to the lifestyle of a healthcare professional and heard all of the fascinating stories. Because my mom was able to tell me about all the different components of healthcare and how healthcare affects every single individual, I knew I wanted to make a difference in helping others, even if it wasn’t in a clinical setting.
What is your favorite study spot on campus?
My favorite study spot on campus is Ellis Library. I love the quietness of the upper levels and the beautiful architecture of the building. Libraries have always been my favorite places to study and Ellis has all the resources to do so and be successful, especially with a bagel from Bookmark Café in hand!
What dorm did you live in your freshman year?
As a freshman, I am currently living in South Hall in Southwest Village. I have loved my time in the dorm so far and, of course, having Starbucks right next door is always a special treat!
