William Heckman is a Health Science major with a Pre-Professional emphasis from Jefferson City, Missouri. After graduation, he plans to attend Physician’s Assistant school.
“Mizzou was close enough to home and far enough to where I felt I was on my own. I used to come up to Mizzou for game days and a variety of things and it felt like home,” he says. “I chose health science because I have always wanted to help people and I think that health care is the best way.”
William is also involved in Tiger Pantry, the Mizzou student-run food pantry.
