Field Specialist in Nutrition and Health, MU Extension
LIZ HARRISON is a field specialist in nutrition and health education at the University of Missouri with a public health background in health planning. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist. Liz additionally serves as a graduate course instructor and the University of Missouri (MU) Extension liaison for the MU Department of Public Health.
Liz offers research-based well-being courses and presentations for communities in Boone and Howard counties. Well-being discussions and hands-on activities include disease management, nutrition, food safety, mindfulness, balance and physical activity, and more. She translates research and knowledge from the University for community use.
