Database Administrator and Adjunct Instructor

Nishant Jain joined the Missouri Cancer Registry and Research Center in April 2020 as a database administrator. Nishant earned an MHA with a graduate certificate in Health Informatics from the University of Missouri. Nishant has worked as an HMI intern at the Washington University, School of Medicine in St. Louis and as a graduate research assistant with the Family and Community Medicine at the University of Missouri.

He has 10 years of experience working as a software support analyst within the University of Missouri System – Office of Intellectual Property Administration. Nishant also has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. He is a member of the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society and the American Medical Informatics Association.
