Camp Catch-Ya-Breath for children with asthma

Camp Catch-Ya-Breath is a free weekend camp that empowers children ages 7-13 to learn how to obtain control of their asthma. The camp is co-hosted by the University of Missouri Respiratory Therapy program and Washington County Memorial Hospital.
At Camp Catch-Ya-Breath, children with asthma learn the importance and benefits of asthma medication while participating in fun activities like swimming, hiking and crafts.

Volunteers make it possible to offer Camp Catch-Ya-Breath at no charge to families. As a volunteer, you will provide the opportunity for kids to gain the necessary education to better control their asthma, support emotional growth and maximize well-being — all while having the time of their life.
