Congratulations to Crystal Lim, Department of Health Psychology chair, on the recent publication of “Psychological Approaches to the Treatment of Pediatric Obesity.” Lim wrote the book with Thomaseo Burton, a clinical psychologist with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The book was published by the American Psychological Association and was designed to be a comprehensive guide for clinical practice and training. Lim said it examines the intersecting roles of gender, race and ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and other key factors that contribute to the onset and maintenance of pediatric obesity.
