Two recent graduates of the University of Missouri’s Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program earned national recognition in the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Student Poster Competition.
Jack Kaiser and Gabby Peuterbaugh, who graduated from the College of Health Sciences in August 2026, will be recognized and have their posters displayed at the 2026 SDMS Annual Conference on Sept. 24-26 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Kaiser was awarded first place for his poster, Ultrasound Characterization of a Rare Periosteal Cartilaginous Tumor of the Humerus: Case Report. He has accepted a full-time position as a pediatric echocardiographer at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
Peuterbaugh earned second place for her poster, Challenges in Sonographic Diagnosis of Conjoined Twins with a Shared Heart: A Case Report. She has accepted a full-time position with Mercy Hospital St. Louis in its OB-GYN clinic.
