Robinson to lead national gerontology organization

Erin Robinson, an associate professor in the Mizzou School of Social Work, has been named president of the Association for Gerontology Education in Social Work (AGESW), a national organization dedicated to advancing aging-related research, education and policy.
Robinson has been a member of AGESW since 2013 and has served on its board since 2020, most recently as vice president. As president, Robinson will lead the organization’s efforts to support gerontological social work educators and mentor the next generation of scholars in the field.
Within the College of Health Sciences, Robinson directs both the Master of Social Work program and the graduate certificate in gerontological social work.
