The College of Health Sciences is proud to welcome Lisa Harrison as its new director of business administration starting Oct. 21. 

Harrison holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami. She currently serves as a business administration manager III with the MU Department of Biochemistry. Prior to that, she worked as a senior business support specialist with the School of Visual Studies at Mizzou. She has years of experience overseeing budgets, reporting on finances and collaborating with leadership. 

Harrison said she’s excited to join “one of the most dynamic areas on campus.”

“The work being done in the College of Health Sciences in education and research is essential to the health and well-being of our local community and has impact well beyond,” she said. “I’m excited to learn more about the work being done and to lend my skills and experience to ongoing efforts.”

Outside of work, Harrison is a yoga and meditation practitioner and teacher. She’s passionate about food and enjoys exploring new cuisines — particularly at the intersection of wellness and nourishment.
