Congratulations to Sydney Taschler, a senior with the Mizzou Nuclear Medicine program, for winning the Nuclear Medicine Ambassador Program Award for her outstanding work in the field.

She is one of only five students nationwide to receive this award from the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. The accolade includes $1,000, which Taschler said she plans to save for after graduation.

Taschler said she could not have done it without the support of the Mizzou College of Health Sciences.

“While the award is personally meaningful, I think this recognition is truly a broader reflection of the excellence of Mizzou’s Nuclear Medicine program,” she said. “The program’s faculty and technologists have created a curriculum that has greatly contributed to my growth and success within this field of medicine.”
