Rachel Wolpert, an associate professor in the Mizzou Department of Occupational Therapy, has been named editor-in-chief of OTJR: Occupational Therapy Journal of Research.
Wolpert’s research focuses on developing, testing and implementing technology-based interventions for adults and older adults receiving rehabilitation services. Wolpert has received R21 and R01 grants from the National Institutes of Health and has held leadership roles with the American Occupational Therapy Foundation, including serving as a board member and Planning Grant Collective chair.
“I look forward to continuing to publish high-quality, impactful research to support occupational therapy science, research and practice,” Wolpert said.
Wolpert succeeds Tim Wolf, professor and chair of the occupational therapy department at Mizzou, who previously served as editor-in-chief of the peer-reviewed journal. For more than 40 years, OTJR has published research that advances occupational therapy science and informs clinical practice.
