This past week, the Mizzou Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences held its inaugural Brain Camp for kids between the ages of 5 and 10.

The summer camp was coordinated by the Neuroscience of Education Research on Development (NERD) Lab, which is led by Assistant Professor Laura Morett. Campers enjoyed a week of fun and engaging activities relating to their brains and the amazing things they’re able to do.
