Congratulations to School of Social Work faculty members Kelli Canada, professor, and Ashley Givens, associate professor, who recently published a book, “Community-Engaged Research with Marginalized Populations,” through SAGE Publications.
The book champions alternative research approaches rooted in empowerment and collaboration. It highlights community-engaged methodologies where local partners are essential to the study, offering strategies, resources and ethical tips for researchers.
