Mansoo Yu appointed associate editor of the Journal of the Society for Social Work and Research

March 1, 2021 Mansoo Yu, professor of social work and public health in the School of Health Professions, has been appointed associate editor of the Journal of the Society for Social Work and Research (JSSWR). The journal is published by the Society for Social Work and Research, which is the premier social work research professional community. Yu’s research has been focused on health disparities and the interconnections of mental health, physical health and health risk behavior. His goal is to generate scientific evidence that practitioners in the field can use to better meet the needs of their clients.

Teresa Briedwell Receives Award for Outstanding Service

Fall 2020 Dean’s List

Jan. 15, 2021 Congratulations to all students who made the Fall 2020 Dean’s List! Each school and college at the University of Missouri determines its own dean’s list eligibility for undergraduate students. Students who had privacy holds in MyZou are excluded from public lists. To qualify for the dean’s list in the School of Health Professions, a student must earn a 3.3 GPA in a minimum of 12 graded (A-F) credit hours. Rachel Proffitt Wins Young Investigator Award from American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine

Rachel Proffit, assistant professor in the Mizzou Department of Occupational Therapy, won the Young Investigator Award from the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM). This award lectureship is co-sponsored by the American Stroke Association and ACRM.
