Todd Pridemore named Director of Advancement
The School of Health Professions is pleased to welcome Todd Pridemore as the school’s director of advancement starting May 17. Pridemore joined Mizzou in 2018 as a gift planning and regional advancement officer and was promoted to director of advancement for MU Health Care in 2020. His previous fundraising experience includes the Baptist Home and the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri. Cheri Ghan creates scholarship fund for student ambassadors
If you’re struggling to believe in yourself, you always have one person in your corner: Cheri Ghan. A former journalist, Ghan came to Mizzou in 2006. Originally hired to manage communication for the School of Health Professions, she now leads student recruitment efforts for the school. Fun for All
Nestled in the courtyard between Mizzou’s Lewis and Clark halls, the School of Health Professions’ new Inclusive Playground inspires people of all ages and abilities to do some exploring of their own. Tiger paw footprints lead to wheelchair-accessible structures and towers that include a Braille station and a music keyboard with drums nearby. Swings adapt to various mobility levels, an enclosed merry-go-round ensures safety and a basketball hoop adjusts to many heights. “We serve populations that can definitely benefit from something like this, so we thought it was a worthwhile investment,” says school advancement officer Michelle Custer, BA ’03.
