The evening will begin with a panel discussion on community-engaged research at 4:30 p.m. in the Nancy Toedebusch Fay Classrooms, 104 and 105 Clark Hall. The discussion will be moderated by Kelli Canada and Ashley Givens, School of Social Work faculty members and authors of Community-Engaged Research with Marginalized Populations (SAGE Publications, 2025).

Panelists include:

  • Faith Sharp, lived experience expert and community research partner
  • Wilson Majee, associate professor, Department of Health Sciences

After the panel, guests are invited to a student poster display and reception in the Clark Hall lobby. The session will showcase student research projects across CHS disciplines and provide an informal setting for conversation and networking. Student posters will remain on display in the lobby for one week.

These events are hosted by the CHS Committee on Research and Scholarly Engagement. All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate.
