The University of Missouri Department of Health Psychology is pleased to welcome interns and postdoctoral fellows for the 2026-27 training year.
As part of its commitment to developing the next generation of psychologists, the department offers APA-accredited predoctoral internships through the Missouri Health Sciences Psychology Consortium. These internships provide essential training for students seeking licensure as psychologists. The department also offers postdoctoral fellowships that support advanced clinical specialization.

About the Mizzou Department of Health Psychology
Housed in the Mizzou College of Health Sciences, the Department of Health Psychology is home to 10 faculty members who serve as clinicians, educators, supervisors and scholars. All faculty are licensed psychologists in the state of Missouri, and four are board certified in their specialty area.
Department faculty deliver evidence-based psychological services across campus locations in Clark Hall and at the Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopment, working within interdisciplinary care teams that serve pediatric and adult populations.
Although modest in size, the department’s impact is amplified through collaboration with staff technicians, postdoctoral fellows and doctoral interns. Together, they support a robust clinical, teaching and training mission. The department generates more than $3 million annually in clinical billings, with approximately $1.9 million in collections in FY 2025, reflecting both high community demand and the value of integrated behavioral health care.
