Master of Health Administration degree moves to Department of Health Sciences
The University of Missouri is pleased to announce that the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program and the graduate certificate in Informatics for Public Health will be moving to the Department of Health Sciences in the School of Health Professions. The move is effective for the 2023–24 academic year and coincides with the school’s name change to College of Health Sciences. Tim Wolf selected to be next Associate Dean for Research
June 1, 2021 (Updated Oct. 22, 2021) Tim Wolf, professor and chair of the Department of Occupational Therapy, has been selected to serve as Associate Dean for Research starting Oct. 1, 2021. The few months’ overlap in titles with Judith Goodman, who will retire after the Fall 2021 semester, will facilitate a smooth transition of responsibilities and continued momentum in research activities. Through restructuring of responsibilities in the Department of Occupational Therapy, Dr. Wolf will also continue to serve as chair of the department. “Dr. Wolf is an accomplished scientist with a robust and meaningful research program,” Dean Kristofer Hagglund said.

Cheri Ghan creates scholarship fund for student ambassadors
If you’re struggling to believe in yourself, you always have one person in your corner: Cheri Ghan. A former journalist, Ghan came to Mizzou in 2006. Originally hired to manage communication for the School of Health Professions, she now leads student recruitment efforts for the school.
