Students participate in Undergraduate Research forum
Fourteen School of Health Professions students participated in the 2022 Spring Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievements Forum. Students presented research in diverse categories, including Life Sciences, Behavioral/Social Sciences, Applied Design, and Humanities. Missouri plans an ‘end’ to the coronavirus pandemic, but life isn’t back to normal (St. Louis Public Radio)

Mike Parson and other state officials have said they’re planning an “end” to the coronavirus pandemic as early as March. Fall 2021 Dean’s List
Jan. 18, 2022 Congratulations to 1,507 Health Professions students who made the Fall 2021 Dean’s List! Each school and college at the University of Missouri determines its own dean’s list eligibility for undergraduate students. Students who had privacy holds in MyZou are excluded from public lists. To qualify for the dean’s list in the School of Health Professions, a student must earn a 3.30 GPA in a minimum of 12 graded (A-F) credit hours. Enid Schatz will step down as chair of the Department of Public Health in Summer 2022 in order to focus on research. International student receives awards for COVID-19 research
By Shanley Silvey Congratulations to Ifeolu David, a PhD student in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, for receiving the Mary Elizabeth Guntermuth Award for Community Engagement and Graduate Professional Council (GPC) Excellence in Research Award this spring. Enid Schatz, professor and chair of the Department of Public Health, nominated David for the Guntermuth Award. David, who completed his MPH at Mizzou in 2019, assisted Dr. Schatz with a campus-wide study to assess the prevalence of COVID-19 on campus in Fall 2020.
