Students selected to Rural Immersion Program
Six Health Professions students were selected to participate in the 2022 Rural Immersion Program. This year’s participants will travel to Monett, Missouri, June 21-24. The Rural Immersion Program is a four-day experience for health professions students who are interested in living and working in a rural area. This is a non-clinical experience designed to highlight the social and communal aspects of rural life. Students will break into groups that include members of each of the health care disciplines to foster a diversity of thought and experience. Wilson Majee named 2022–23 Fulbright Scholar
April 28, 2022 Story by Gracie Hedenberg The MU School of Health Professions is pleased to announce that Wilson Majee, associate professor of Health Sciences and Public Health, has received a Fulbright Award for the 2022–23 academic year.
