Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences includes the related but distinct professions of speech-language pathology and audiology. Both offer highly rewarding careers with opportunities to work with a wide variety of clients in an array of work settings. Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at the University of Missouri is proud of its long and distinguished history and of the high quality of its graduates, students, faculty, and staff. We offer the only PhD program in speech-language pathology in Missouri.

According to U.S. News and World Report, Speech-Language Pathologist is the No. 3 best job in health care and the No. 10 best job to have overall.
