The School of Health Professions dean’s office works to support the mission, vision and strategic plan of the school and its departments and programs. The dean’s office is comprised of the Office of the Dean, including the associate deans, plus centralized support areas.

Advancement
Advancement is the combined effort of alumni relations and development with the goal of keeping Health Professions faculty, staff, students, alumni, clients, patients and friends engaged in the mission of the school. Advancement Directors Todd Pridemore and Michelle Custer support the school, departments and programs with their efforts to keep alumni involved and engaged by hosting donor recognition and alumni events, meeting with alumni and donors and sharing our stories in alumni communities. Michelle Custer is also the school’s liaison with the Mizzou Alumni Association. Find information for alumni and donors.
Business Office
The Business Office provides budget and fiscal support to the school and its units, and acts as a liaison between department administrators and university business and fiscal staff. Tammy Winfrey is the school’s director of business administration and fiscal officer.
Student Access and Scholars Initiatives
The School of Health Professions is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. We strive for inclusive excellence in all of our programs and functions. The Office of Student Access and Scholars Initiatives is committed to helping students who are economically or educationally disadvantaged succeed. Donal Buckner is our coordinator for student access and scholars initiatives.
Human Resources
The Human Resources office provides oversight and best practices for recruitment, employee relations and training and development. Under the direction of Kim Jones-Jackson, HR provides expertise in the areas of policy interpretation, position classification and reclassification, and salary and wage guidelines. Kim is a liaison between Health Professions units and campus HR. She also serves as a resource for department administrators in regards to day-to-day HR activities. Research
Under the direction of Tim Wolf, associate dean, and Joe Sall, grants and contracts manager, the Office of Research assists SHP faculty seeking internal and external project funding. We facilitate research within and across our departments as well as participation in interdisciplinary research across the university community.
Strategic Communication and Marketing
The Strategic Communication and Marketing office, directed by Angela Dahman, is responsible for schoolwide communication to internal and external constituents. We coordinate with MU and MU Health Care marketing and communication teams develop stories about our teaching, research and service, and to promote the activities of our faculty, staff, students and alumni. Faculty and staff may use the Strategic Communication request form to request web updates or share story ideas.
Student Services
The Office of Student Services in the School of Health Professions is committed to helping students succeed. We provide comprehensive services for students and guidance for parents and faculty in the areas of recruitment, scholarships, admissions, advising, retention, graduation, and career and professional development. The director of Student Services is Cody Baggett.
